KadeyPRIME Group participated in the 2019 Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition of the Nigerian Universities Engineering Students Association (NUESA) – the umbrella organization for students studying engineering courses in Nigeria. The conference which was themed ‘The roles of engineers in nation building with focus on sustainable development goals’ witnessed participation of well over 300 students drawn from different campuses across Nigeria and spanned a duration of 5 days, Monday 16th to Friday 20th September 2019.
KadeyPRIME Group, represented by her CEO, Engr. Kehinde Adeyemi, anchored a truly inspirational and interactive session with a presentation on ‘Smart Cities, BIM and Disruptive Opportunities for Young Engineers’ at the event. He was able to drive through the need for renewed commitment to achieve sustainably smart cities that target achievement of the United Nations (UN) sustainable development goals (SDGs), hinging on active investments of engineer’s technical inputs through innovative technologies such as Building Information Modelling (BIM) and increased participation of Engineers in governance and administration for nation building and national development. Discussions were also channeled towards providing ingenious solutions to local problems as well as staying globally competitive and relevant.
Among the success achieved was informing and reassuring event participants of efforts across board to improve engineering practice conditions such as software accessibility and affordability, access to free and affordable trainings and workshops, e-learning platforms, Project Based Learning (PBL) opportunities and mentorship for both young and practicing professionals within engineering and the larger AEC industry.
KadeyPRIME also attained some level of program sponsorship by providing event support by provision of branded note pads to the events participants.
